Leadership excellence starts with mindset, but its true value is measured by the impact leaders create through their people, decisions, relationships, communication, and performance.
On 14โ15 August 2026, I had the privilege of designing and facilitating โMindset to Impact: The Leadership Excellence Program โ Lead | Grow | Communicateโ for the Senior Leaders and Managers of YUNUSCO and Sourcing International Bangladesh at Lakeshore Heights, Gulshan, Dhaka.
Introduced for the first time for these organizations, this two-day signature program was designed not as a traditional classroom intervention, but as a practical, reflective, and highly interactive leadership journey.
LEAD โ Turning Mindset into Leadership Behaviour
Leadership begins with how we think about ourselves, our people, and the possibilities around us.
The LEAD dimension challenged participants to identify self-limiting beliefs, set bold goals, move beyond their comfort zones, strengthen trust, and build more effective relationships with their teams.
Through reflection, discussions, practical activities, and real workplace situations, participants explored what leadership excellence means in todayโs changing workplace.
The focus was simple: leadership is not only a positionโit is the behaviour and impact we demonstrate every day.
GROW โ Building a Growth Mindset
The GROW dimension focused on developing a growth mindset, embracing challenges, improving personal effectiveness, increasing productivity, and continuously developing oneself and others.
Participants were encouraged to challenge familiar ways of thinking and view difficulties not simply as obstacles, but as opportunities to learn, adapt, and grow.
For senior leaders, growth is also about creating an environment where people feel encouraged to experiment, contribute, learn from mistakes, and reach their potential.
When leaders grow, they create space for others to grow with them.
COMMUNICATE โ From Information to Influence
Leadership and communication are inseparable.
The COMMUNICATE dimension explored how leaders can communicate with greater clarity, confidence, empathy, influence, and professionalism.
Participants worked on practical communication challenges, including persuasive communication through โStart with WHY,โ saying โNOโ professionally, providing effective feedback for growth, and communicating difficult workplace messages constructively.
Through case presentations, team presentations, simulations, and workplace scenarios, the emphasis remained on turning communication concepts into behaviours leaders can use immediately.
Because effective leadership communication is not simply about speakingโit is about creating understanding, alignment, trust, and action.
Learning Through Experience
What made these two days particularly rewarding was the energy, openness, curiosity, and active participation of the senior leadership team.
The learning experience combined reflection, group discussions, case simulations, team challenges, presentations, experiential activities, and real workplace situations.
For me, facilitating experienced senior leaders is never simply about sharing leadership theories.
It is about creating an environment where:
Experience meets reflection.
Reflection creates insight.
Insight inspires action.
And action creates impact.
That is where corporate learning becomes meaningfulโwhen participants can connect what happens inside the training room with what they will do differently when they return to the workplace.
Appreciation
My sincere appreciation to the Management of YUNUSCO and Sourcing Solutions Internationalย for their trust and strong commitment to developing their senior leadership team.
A very special thanks to Nasim Ahmed Maruf and Md. Mahbubul Hasan of nextjobz LearningLab for their collaboration, coordination, and support in making this signature leadership development program possible.
As the Founder and Lead Trainer of Talent ShapeUp, it was personally rewarding to see the program come alive through the engagement, experience, and enthusiasm of the participants.
The two days reinforced a belief at the heart of this program:
ย When leaders change their mindset, they change their actions. And when actions change, impact follows.
Lead with purpose. Grow continuously. Communicate to create impact.
